Unloading valves

Unloading valves are used wherever a pump has to be disconnected from and re-connected to a pressure circuit. For this purpose, we can set the “off” pressure or the “on” pressure of the valve. When the “off” pressure is set, the “on” pressure will depend on the selected on-off difference percentage or vice versa. The disconnection of the pump is that the rising pressure in lines A and X causes the lines A → B to open. This connection remains open until the selected percentage of on-off difference is reached (pressure drop in port X) and the line A → B closes again ( switch-on point). These valves can also be used in charging hydraulic accumulators.
