Throttle Valves

Throttle valves regulate the oil flow rate and thus can be used to control the speed of the actuator. The flow rate is regulated by changing the control surface of the valve. The control surface is comprised between the valve body and the movable valve element. The construction of throttling valves does not allow the actuator speed to be maintained at a predetermined level in the event of external disturbances, e.g. uneven operation of the pump unit.
