TGB slew drives are compact rotation systems that ensure rotational movement of the structure, and at the same time are able to withstand heavy loads and critical environmental conditions thanks to the closed system. Slew drives consist of a rotating ring mounted on or inside the housing, where the screw is also mounted, which is the part responsible for transmitting torque to the rotating ring. There are also several bearings inside housing that hold the worm together with its corresponding motor cover and encoder cover. These covers can be adjusted to fit directly onto a hydraulic motor or transmission using an adapter flange. Slew drives have their own lubricators that enable lubrication of the rotation drive for maintenance purposes.
