Pressure relief cartridge valves

Pressure relief cartridge valves

Cartridge pressure relief valves, also known as safety valves, are used in hydraulic systems to limit the pressure to a certain set level to protect it. If this set level is reached, the pressure relief valve responds and directs excess flow from the system back to the tank. On some valves, regardless of the maximum working pressure to which the valve has been set, the valve can be switched to unloaded bypass through the external pilot port. Proportional relief valves are also available.
