Hydraulic power unit for closing the mold in an injection molding machine

The system (hydraulic cylinders + hydraulic power unit) designed for closing the mold in an injection molding machine allows for a closing force of 40t at a pressure of 160 bar. The system allows you to adjust the actuator extension speed for the approach speed as well as the working speed. Thanks to reducing valves, it is possible to adjust the pressure force. The system uses hydraulic check valves to keep the actuator in position. To avoid opening the mold, the system uses pressure transducers that inform the controller about a possible pressure drop and, if necessary, the system will “feed the pressure”.
