Automation of spreading vehicles

Only a few components are required for the complete system: In the driver’s cabin the display JVM-104 and at the spreader unit the I/O module JXM-IO-E30, the valve block, a wiring harness and, where applicable, sensors or limit switches.
The HMI is connected to the I/O node via CANopen. The HMI is supplied with power via the short-circuit-proof sensor power supplies of the JXM-IO-E30. This means that no further fuses are required and the HMI can be connected to the salt spreader via a 4-wire cable with minimal installation effort. The system can be operated in a wide supply voltage range of 9 … 32 V and has load current stabilization. All function options and software updates can be transferred via USB stick. The position of the spreader and the spreading data can be transmitted to the operator by connecting a telemetry device.
In addition to hydraulic spreaders, we can equip electric spreaders for on-board power supplies with 12, 24 or 48 V DC. For this purpose, we not only offer the control system, but also the appropriate drive technology.

Each system solution consists of highly specialized hardware and software. The modular and scalable approach ensures individual adaptation to your needs.

In addition to activating the function options, the system parameters also include all variable setting values such as valve flows, specific weights of the spreading material, etc. The default values can be changed by the manufacturer on the PC or in the field directly on the device. The JetSpread® software has different password-protected user levels for driver, service, vehicle manufacturer and Jetter AG. In addition to the setting of parameters, updates of the application software can be carried out conveniently via USB stick. As a result, operators will benefit from future optimizations and feature extensions.

All hydraulic functions have been optimized for use with proportional valves from Bucher Hydraulics, SRCA and SRCB series.
